Young rap phenom Teammate Markus is making his debut on The Milker today with a blapified banger of a project entitled Prices. The Tempe, Arizona product holds nothing back on his first full-length offering, a 13-track pack of gems that highlights Markus’ engulfing presence on the mic and an AZ hip hop scene that’s often overlooked.
Listening to Prices will also cause you to scratch your head and be like, “Yo, his name is Teammate Markus!?! This dude does not need teammates; he’s already ill all by himself!"

Prices features some dope organic production from righthand man Harry Mar, who provides some lush backdrops for Markus to lace his clever bars to. But Prices isn't merely a slew of miscellaneous punchlines; there's an impressive level of focus and storytelling chops for a debut LP — shoot, for any LP. It's hard not to dig the album's positive message, too, which Markus sums up succinctly:
It’s a thought process. It means holding yourself to a higher standard, setting your prices high, and knowing your worth.
