As an original member of the tastemaker Fool’s Gold Records crew, Sammy is a staple name in the U.S. house scene and his latest track "21" is a perfect representation of his clever production fusing in ‘90s-inspired basslines and sax riffs with a tongue-in-cheek theme. This will be the first single off his upcoming LP coming out this year and features hilariously foul-mouthed vocals of Nicky K, a longtime MC / hostess at LES burlesque institution The Box.

I met Nicky K through witnessing her hosting sass at The Box and a few Afropunk events and knew she would be the one to make this dream come true! We finally linked last year at Nick Hook’s thespacepit studio and “21” is the result.
