Singer-Songwriter Chase McBride, announces his arrival as a rising west-coast folk artist with a new, laid-back single “On The Other Side” and a stunning music video to match. The full-length album “Cold Water” will be available on a limited vinyl release as well as worldwide through iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play on January 18.
The video opens with a beautiful sequence of Bodega Bay, California, where the entire album was recorded. McBride teamed up with San Francisco band French Cassettes to produce the album in a small beach cabin and hired a backing band to help capture the songs live in their raw form. The result is an honest stripped-down collection of songs written in the wake of a heartbreak.
Fans of Dawes, Nick Drake, and Devendra Banhart will enjoy McBride’s confessional lyrics, understated instrumental arrangements and earnest vocals.
