The original "When I'm Down" was such a fun hit and today, LA-based producer Virtu has released his official remix of "When I'm Down" with a tinge of his own signature sound.
There's something about Oliver Tree's original vocals that sort of just push them up into your face, like a likable person who demands attention. Virtu continues to give Oliver Tree the spotlight in his remix, but instead of hearing Whethan's sunny indie production, we hear Virtu's more cooled down, spicy electronic take. Vocals and production blend together seamlessly, and if listeners haven't heard the original track, they might be pleasantly surprised upon realizing that both versions of "When I'm Down" could easily make it into their favorite personal playlists.
