2016 has been a fairly stellar year for the San Holo-founded label bitbird and they are closing it out on a bit of a softer note. Enter Emma Sameth and the track "2AM", premiering exclusively on EARMILK. Produced by DNTST and Berg, "2AM" takes influence from electronic R&B and pop vocalists such as Kiiara and Astrid D.

The track opens with the same dream-like essence of a lullaby as Sameth's vocals can be heard softly under slight distortion. The vocals become more clear and the trap-inspired beats alongside dark, melodic synths begin to take over. The lyrics discuss those typical 2AM thoughts of someone else, which keep you awake until the early hours of the morning. As bitbird's final release of the year, "2AM" is sure to carry over into the new year as the new "2AM-and-I-miss-you" jam.

Visuals for "2AM" will be released this Friday, December 23rd via bitbird.
