House of Virus twists soft-pop into house with their remix of Tiggi Hawke’s unreleased “Neon Dancer” [Premiere]

Fledgling pop artist Tiggi Hawke has the voice of someone radio-ready in the premiere of her newest feature— the House of Virus remix of her unreleased single “Neon Dancer.” This launch follows the “Burn Notice EP” which came out earlier in 2016, and it unveils a new sound that suites her voice well, swaying far from the soft and breathy-pop songs on her last EP.

Hawke’s signature sound is still being established but the new combination of powerhouse vocals over crashing house beats on this remix of “Neon Dancer” is striking with it’s memorable groove and Hawke’s echoing chorus. The song is produced by Lewis Gardner, a previous member of Prides— an indie band native to Glasgow formed in 2014. House of Virus is an established DJ and producer duo made up of Virus J and Dirty Orkestra, who have backgrounds that include playing alongside legends like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Above & Beyond as well as touring with The Fall.
