New York City singer, rapper, and producer Eli Sostre has teamed up with long-time collaborator and fellow producer Soriano once again to bring us “Same Pain”, a track that’s as dark as it is catchy and melodic.

The “late night in the city” vibes flowing from this song are nothing new for Eli; his EP STILL UP ALL NIGHT is packed to the brim with ethereal production and moody lyrics. However, “Same Pain” is still fresher than ever, carried by Soriano’s reverb-soaked pianos and 808’s that mercilessly pound the track home, while Eli’s vocal performance glides smoothly over top. And, if you’re looking for a chorus to get stuck in your head, well, there’s a good chance the words “Trust I know you too well, I felt the same pain” are going to be coming out of your mouth the next time you’re in your feelings.
If you’re as addicted to this depressing-in-all-the-right-ways sound as I am, then you’re going to want to keep a close eye on Eli Soriano. He’s already promised that his next, still unannounced, release is going to be “the best shit for 2017”.
