In 2016, the UK music scene has proven to be as vibrant as ever with the resurgence of not only the Grime scene but with artist within hip-hop and R&B/soul genres as well (a la NAO, Jorja Smith, & Little Simz). Another arist who is poising to make their mark within London's music community this next year 18 year old singer/songwriter AMA LOU whose highly personal & silky take on R&B first got our attention when she released her debut single "TBC" back in October. The artist has recently released a cinematic visual via I-D to accompany the single directed by Jack Bowden that features Ama frolicking and skating through different locales within her hometown with an eccentric band of friends.
