Nafets and producer CPSL0CK's latest collaboration, "Afro," deals with the rapper's dark, but elegant self-reflection, and his conflicts with depression, creativity, and his own identity. Nafets gets his thoughts off on an impressively crafted verse that showcases his lyrical precision, with every bar delivering a carefully constructed message. The artist has described the track as offering "a window into my state of mind at the time." Nafets isn't the only one who does his thing on the track, as CPSL0CK provides the rapper with a beat that's as smooth as it is brooding, and does an excellent job of equally delivering the dark undertone of his verse. Accompanying the release of the track is it's video, directed and edited by Zak Forrest. The atmosphere created by Forrest in the video is the perfect match for "Afro," with shadowy and abstract imagery that serves as some illustration for Nafets troubled mindset.
