FOMO’s “Missing You” feat. Aybe hits all the feels [Premiere]

Formerly one half of The Socialytes, John Mullinex has recently branched out into a deeper project under the moniker of FOMO. This project strays away from the rambunctious and party-oriented banger sounds that the Socialytes delivered. In his solo project FOMO, the Baltimore based producer and songwriter has veered into the direction of taking on a more emotionally driven approach to his sounds. Putting the differences between both sounds into perspective, FOMO has said, "“If Socialytes was rock music, Fomo would be jazz”.

Today EARMILK debuts his first original "Missing You", a delectably sweet tracked drenched in the feelings of love and longing. The vocals of AYBE are buttery and soulful, reminiscent of the early 90s style of R&B. Her raw vocals perfectly compliment the soft piano melodies dancing in the background. FOMO adds a unique dance twist to the track, with funky vocal chops and dance-hall inspired drum work. The simplicity in the track is a rarity, exposing the true emotions in AYBE's vocals and highlighting a softness that mimics love's feathery nature. With this stunning debut release from FOMO, we can only expect more poignant releases to tickle the heartstrings.
