Long time followers of this site know how much we love London-based producer and DJ, Kidnap Kid. Anytime we need a quick dive into melodic, cinematic Deep House, we know we could turn to the Kid to get our fix. Now, EARMILK is fortunate enough to have the official music video for his newest single, "Brokenhearted" for your listening pleasure.
The track is one of two off the new Brokenhearted EP, available today on Kidnap Kid's new label Birds That Fly. Since we already covered the other track on the EP, "Mist," I won't get into that track here… but just know that "Brokenhearted" is the perfect A-side to "Mist's" B-side. While "Mist" was a more laid-back affair, "Brokenhearted" is punctuated by syncopated drum rhythms, minor piano chords, and a soaring-yet-subdued vocal that is sure to steal your heart.
