With his third album Choreography just released, Brooklyn’s Bright Light Bright Light is charming the world with his 80s-inspired synth pop one track at a time. One of our favorite singles off the album, a track called “Symmetry of Two Hearts,” features Elton John lending to the funky mix. Today, one of our other favorites is stepping up with a remix to get your feet moving, electronic pop duo Loframes. Loframes has been going strong this year, having just released their single with France’s Anoraak. They’re keeping the bar high with this “Symmetry of Two Hearts” remix.
Accenting the groovy piano vibes and Bright Light Bright Light’s voice, Loframes sort of strips down the track a bit before they get bouncy and sophisticated for their mix. In his original, Bright Light Bright Light a.k.a. Rod Thomas, mentions being inspired by the movie Mannequin and Kim Cattrall’s dance sequence. I’m sure Cattrall will still be dancing to what Loframes has done, as we go from a throwback sound to something more modern with the club in mind. Check out the moves in Bright Light Bright Light's "Symmetry of Two Hearts" video and catch him on tour this fall!
