Iconic house outlet Subliminal Records has had quite a start to summer 2016. They last welcomed the chart-topping appearance from Erick Morillo, “This Is How We Do It,” and now the label is gearing up to welcome back one of its favorites (and founder) for another single release.
Harry Romero is no stranger to the groove of house, as a veteran tastemaker in the scene in making music as well as having residencies at Ministry of Sound and Pacha Ibiza. Romero's latest speaks to those residencies, with a new track "RUDE" that represents the best parts about summer. Featuring Jessica Eve and RT, "RUDE" piques our nostalgia with a screwed vocal loop that lands somewhere in between a rap and a nursery rhyme. With a funkiness and tech angle that speaks to our mature music taste, "RUDE" hits the pleasure spot from all angles. It's out tomorrow, just in time for your weekend block party, festival or barbeque.
