San Diego-based producer Ronzel has a knack for infectious house tunes, whether it be through tasteful hip-hop remixes to upbeat originals. Even in his range, Ronzel's quality remains consistent but always changing and innovative. Most recently, he flipped a hip hop classic, taking on 2pac's "Changes" earlier this May. As risky as it is to take on a highly regarded classic, Ronzel successfully took on the track and added his signature touch. The remix was a bright work with growling bass-lines and uplifting piano melodies.
It's only a couple of weeks later and the producer is already back with an exciting hit to prep you for the warm summer days. "Bittersweet" features silky vocal work from Austin based singer Josh Rubin. The track speaks to a bittersweet romance, tugging between wrong and right feelings. Imitating the hypnotic nature of this type of love, the bouncing melodies enchant listeners and bring them to a chilled state of mind. The smooth vocal work approapriateiy compliments the mellowed tune's deep synths and enchanting piano work.
