Are you ready for some feel-good funky synth pop to brighten up your day? Finnish producer Disco Despair has just the cute and sunny melodies to get rid of any dullness that may come your way. His track “You Are Girl” comes ahead of the producer’s forthcoming EP of the same name.

Between that deep, groovy bassline and carefree instrumentation, it’s hard not to dance along and feel the moment a little bit. Singer Jeremey David tops off the track perfectly with his soulful, warm and inviting vocals—try not to sing along. The overall feeling has me thinking of a Mikky Ekko meets Penguin Prison sound. Look for the full You Are Girl EP next week, out via Finnish label Youth Control.
