Kaskade recently founded his record label Arkade, which debuted its first single just about a year ago. The imprint has supported up and coming artists and those with good footing in the music industry, including Late Night Alumni, CID and Project 46. And this week, Arkade has continued to support up and coming talent, with the label's debut of Ravell and his first single.
You might have caught the Los Angeles-based Ravell with Kaskade supporting the Automatic tour last year, but now, he's debuting his first original music. Entitled "Do It Now," Ravell has made his first statement in the house world with funky underground inspired house. With a jackin' sample of the vocals from the more than memorable 2002 hit "My Neck, My Back" from Khia, "Do It Now" plays on familiarity and the unexpected unanimously.
