Founded by John Digweed and Nick Muir, the established UK imprint Bedrock Records has been churning out anthemic house and techno records for 17 years now. Making his debut on the respected label is Berlin-based producer Ruede Hagelstein with a stunning remix of Marc Romboy's "Counting Comets."
The original track highlights everything that's great about Marc Romboy with its infectious cosmic groove dominating dancefloors throughout 2015. Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein offers a refreshing perspective, with dark percussion and disorientating effects juxtaposing the euphoric chords that drive you through the record's narrative. It's perfect for the early hours sets, with the brooding strings easing the early morning rays through sullen clouds.
