Hailing from the sunny shores of Grenada, Spain, Lauren Benavente grew up listening to an especially eclectic mixture of music. While his family were listening to Jazz and Disco, he was educating himself with Breakbeat, Jungle and Hip Hop. Clearly enthralled by the sounds of electronic dance music, his latest release, on Rocka Musik, infuses the sounds of his child hood into an explosive blend of house and techno.

They say that "Karma" comes back around, that certainly wouldn't be a problem with this record. Prickly, sharp percussions gradually entice you into a pulsating monster bass line that bullies you straight onto the dance floor. There's a hypnotic tribal like feel about the record, rendering you helpless to its unforgiving energy. It's a no nonsense peak-time weapon of the highest order.
