We're about to begin March 2016, and if you're a fan of electronic music, you may know that it's the industry's busiest and best time of year. Setting out to prove that true in this year is Andy MacDougall, following up his collaboration Too High For Too Long with an EP with an outstanding original mix and just as impressive remix work. Out on Glasgow Underground, the Shaman EP reflects everything that authentic house is all about.
The original mix of "Shaman" is atmospheric music, conveying a tropical sunrise ahead of its undoubted Miami appearance. After debuting on Toolroom's Amsterdam compilation in 2015, it's making a more than deserved comeback for Miami 2016. Calling upon Rene Amesz for some true mesmerizing tech house and an impressive deep (like, you forgot house could go this deep) rendition from Dennis Cruz, Shaman is more than well-rounded and the perfect way to get excited for the weeks ahead.
