SoSure Music are a London based imprint with a focus on authentic underground house music. This ethos is demonstrated by previous releases from the likes of Hollis Parker, Yotto and the late great Frankie Knuckles. The latest artist to be showcased on the promising label is New York based Tedd Patterson, a serious player in the underground house scene.
"Luv Muscle" opens up with reverberating 90's style synths contrasting against dense kicks and sub bass stabs. The production is fascinating, almost hypnotic with crunchy garage-influenced percussion working alongside bright chords and solitary deep keys as the records elements mesh together. Shades of the track are reminiscent of Daniel Avery's huge hit "All I Need" in the way that you're eased in and out of the records narrative in a glorious state of trance.
