Corona's Electric Beach expands to Miami's Ocean Drive in 2016

Miami is known for being a promoter driven market, where word of mouth is strong for it's 80,000 residents. South Beach, especially Ocean Drive, is a good introduction to Miami. It has less exclusivity than other areas, restaurants and a lot of Corona. Very different from the downtown Wynwood scene, with it's slick city streets, Ocean Drive is sidewalks, beach and palm trees. And that's where Corona's Electric Beach comes in, as the the ultimate out of towner's experience.

While largely known for Ultra Music Festival & WMC, CEB is expanding to Miami, as well as Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, LA & there are rumors of the event expanding into other markets. Fresh off a spin at Miami's Art Week, where CEB brought hip street artist Dasic Fernandez in and set up a mural wall for him to decorate. It was called "The Best of Both Worlds" and featured talents DJ Craze, Ape Drums, Astronomar and TJ Mizell on the decks.

For the Miami portion of CEB, the EDM driven event series is bringing DJ Icey to the stage, with support by No Sleep, Shade, Supernaut, Mas Inc., and Merlyn for a party that will stretch from midday into night. No Sleep is a Cinderella of sorts, and has recently been generating a lot of support online.

Headliner DJ Icey is the owner of the indie label Zone and has been referred to in the past as "The Merchant of Boom." He specializes in Miami Bass, 90's hip-hop, freestyle and house. His goal as a DJ is to make you dance, which is exactly what we can expect at CEB. Prepare yourself for a potential Go-Go dancer twirling across the stage in fishnets and furry boots during his set for a true Ocean Drive experience.
