What do you do when you attend Yale? Make delicious sexy soulful music, of course. Well that is if your name is Gabe Acheson, aka Goldwash. The 21-year-old singer/producer out of Baltimore released his first song “But U Won’t” only 3 weeks ago and today he followed up that with his colorful track “Malady.” The instrumentation in the song is very Future Classic-esque and has this playful whimsy that delights the senses with each bouncy synth. His falsetto floats perfectly over the vibrant music bed he creates. As the song builds, added guitars and pounding bass create this danceable vibe that will have you wanting to sway with Malady. If you love artists like Chet Faker and Mura Masa, then you will love Goldwash. Don’t sleep on him because before long he will be selling out tours and playing festival mainstages.
