Heads old and new might say that the New York sound is dead, they've obviously been ignoring the series of bangers that the Diggin in the Crates Crew have been dropping over the past few weeks (seriously, if you're out of the loop, go ahead and peep "Make Em So Proud (Hold Up)" and "Diggin Number" right now; you won't be disappointed). Now with the release of their latest track, "Gotta Be Classic," the legendary rap crew opts for a spooky, minimalistic beat (thanks to the always nice Showbiz) that fits like a glove with these menacing bars from A.G. and O.C.. According to D.I.T.C., we can expect a new project sometime during the spring (fingers crossed that we get to hear some unreleased Big L verses). Peep the realness down below and enjoy.
