His sound is innovative and bridges a gap between dance music and more intricate music genres. His latest remix of the Snakehips x Tinashe x Chance The Rapper hit track “All My Friends” completely transforms the piece, giving a breadth most DJs wouldn’t even fathom for a club track. He begins his remix with a distorted, washed out, and muffled chorus, Tinashe shouting through the fog and haze of a Friday night, “All my friends are wasted, and I hate this club.” It is the feeling when your drunk to sober ratio is just right, the music drops, and you are propelled from disdain to drunken revelry. His verses blend elements of future bass, neo-soul, jazz, and R&B that create this provocative upbeat upbeat flamenco vibe that you just want to curl up in and writhe into the night with.
