The electronic world has been blessed with several huge collaborations for the beginning of 2016, showing us that it is the key to exploration and growth within the scene. In the freshest of electronic partnership, Boston-based Sober Rob features Singaporean producer MYRNE in the track "Shrine", depicting a plethora of unique technique. Sober Rob has several originals under his belt, all showcasing a vibrant future flair and one of a kind sound design. The young producer extends his experience by also collaborating with names including KRNE and Sevnth. MYRNE has made waves in the scene recently with Porter Robinson featuring an edit of his track with graves, "Tiger Blood" in his live shows, and is also signed to Diplo's very own Mad Decent. Both MYRNE and Sober Rob have a substantially growing following on Soundcloud and are definitely producers to keep an eye on in the coming year.
"Shrine" opens with clunky synths and perky drum work over a seemingly oriental inspired melody. The listener is then thrown into a cinematic whirlwind of pulsing clicks and full-bodied sounds. The track is riddled in texture, overflowing with complexities of electronic sound waves. "Shrine" is the essence of what future producers should aspire to create in their art; jarring and unexpected. The two producers deliver an electronic masterpiece, riddled in experimentation and rawness that only leaves the listener asking for more. Check out the track below. Download the track for free here.
