brandUn DeShay has always been one to wear his influences on his sleeve. The Chicago-bred rapper & producer was able to develop an unique, Neptunes-inspired sound that is occasionally based around obscure video-game and anime samples, way before it became trendy.

After a brief stint in Odd Future, Brandun then went on to lend his production talents to other emerging and prominent artist like Dom Kennedy, Mac Miller, Sir Michael Rocks, Chance the Rapper, many more. After a 4 year hiatus, he finally released a new solo project last month entitled the goldUn Child LP, and has debuted the video for the standout track "Had Em All".
The Transparency Agency directed visual is an ode to all of video game and anime characters who played a major role in brandUn's upbringing, with many of them making cameos thanks to some clever editing techniques courtesy of the Proper Team.
