LA-based producer Madeaux took the scene by surprise with his recent EP 'New Wav', released on Fool's Gold Records in September 2015. His latest EP sneakily crept its way into our radars, enlightening us with a bizarre but effective clash of a neo-noir 80's vibe meets modern future bass. Even the title of the EP references Madeaux influences from electronic music's history whether it be the new wave era to the popular 90's audio format. In his tracks, Madeaux manages to create a paradoxically smooth clash of trap influenced percussions with retro electronic synths to make for an innovative sound.
With the success of 'New Wav', Madeaux has received hype across the board as a breakout artist to watch in 2016. Additionally, the EP is one of the most listened to Fool's Gold releases in the past year. Since the release of the EP, Madeaux is in high drive, finding the time to to create tracks with Datkyl, X&G, as well as sharing the stage with big names Hermitude and Slander. The young producer wrapped up the year with his first headlining show in LA, so it's evident that Madeaux will not be slowing down anytime soon.
