Statik Selektah releases a Black Thought bonus joint with "Couldn't Tell"

Statik Selektah has been nice since day one; the same goes for Black Thought. But when these two titans team up, you get the breathtaking yet introspective "Couldn't Tell." After dropping one of the best verses of the year on PRhyme's "Wishin' II," Tariq is back to drop another set of mellow bars on top of this head nodding, boom-bap banger. Statik's Lucky 7 album was armed to the teeth with features from some of hip hop's most hardworking cats, including BIG K.R.I.T, Joey Bada$$ and the late Sean Price, but "Couldn't Tell," a track that didn't make the official release of the project, somehow outshines all of the tracks from the album. Let's hope that Statik Selektah and Black Thought get in the studio and cook up a joint project for us to enjoy.
