The British invasion is showing no sign of letting up any time soon. Whilst the likes of Skepta & Stormzy have been taking the U.S. by storm, playing to packed out crowds, this has spurred on a whole host of other British artists to push on with what they're doing and make huge waves of their own.
Jacob Banks is a new face to EARMILK, but one that has been causing quite the ruckus in Britain, where he's seen as one of the Country's brightest prospects. His latest video for "Monster", serves as further proof of his ability to make a thought provoking and sombre mood-setting track. With soulful piano chords, banging 808 kicks and an infectious clapping pattern setting the undertones for this track, Banks delivers a deep and stirring vocal performance, showing an incredible knack for a catch, anthemic hook. Fellow Londoner Avelino comes through with a solid verse to round the track off nicely, and showing that once again, Britain is a hotbed for new musical talent. The slickly produced visuals that accompany this track are a perfect match, and as easy on the eye.
