A&Rs and industry types can be associated both with an artist's success, or frankly screwing them over, but Ashton Martin isn't about to become someone's pawn. I first came across the Toronto-based talent when I heard "Been A While" earlier this year; since then, I've been giving the track top billing when it comes to my daily commute playlist. On "No One," Martin comes war ready with a plethora of snappy bars over a soulful, head nodding beat. Ashton also gives us a whirlwind tour throughout Tdot before taking us to a confrontational meeting within an office. I won't spoil the ending, but I'm excited to see where he goes from here. There's no word as to whether or not Ashton has any set dates for any upcoming projects, but let's hope that he's got some heat to keep us warm during the winter months.
