Let it be known, Toronto really has got talent. The 'Six' as Drake now infamously renamed it, has been churning out talented artists for a while now, and whilst the likes of Drizzy and The Weeknd have been seen as the leading lights for the city, there's an underlying belly of talent that's just itching to get known.
Step up Teddy Fantum. The T-Dot born rapper, who's been friends with Abel and the XO boys for a while now, has been steadily establishing himself as one of Toronto's hidden gems, and with the release of his latest track, looks set to climb further up the mountain to rap stardom. "Therapy" see's Fantum at his best, backed by an 808-laden drum pattern that really bangs, and an eerie sounding piano riff, Teddy steps onto the beat with authority, depicting the madness that a mentally and emotionally unstable man lives recklessly in the city. The lyricism backed by the beat is chillingly haunting, and shows a darker side the the DSTRY star.
