The recently turned 19-year-old production mad man known as Woolymammoth has just released a 5 track EP entitled Tricks via the Buygore imprint.
Described as "inconceivable sound design," this young producer clearly pays much detail to each and every piece of the track to create sounds that seem unfathomable. This kid, being a student of Icon Collective, has already shown his prowess in the underground bass scene and only the universe knows what they are teaching him inside the confines of the school.
The EP starts us off with mammoth size bass lines that absolutely shred through the speakers and rattle the earth below. The tracks to follow truly get back to the underground with melty sound design layered with perfect vocal chops throughout. The EP title track Tricks is an industrial trap banger with epic vocal work to compliment the shattering bass lines. After one listen I truly am left trying to grasp what I just heard.
