We featured Akiine on the site not too long ago with her new single "Brixton" off her Neptune EP. Today the London-based artist unveils visuals for her single "Destiny". Featuring Akiine herself, she stars as a shadowy puppet master holding the fate of two dance-battling beasts set deep inside a desolate forest.
Akiine remarks, “The concept around Destiny, is that it’s a fight between two forces that are essentially one. The choreography was a mix of set moves created by me, Grace (Director, Costumes) and the dancers. But a lot was created on the spot, working around a few guidelines—so lots of feeling and very free movements.”
