Teens these days are at a disadvantage. They only know Pharrell Williams for his sad skeleton juxtaposed to an unnecessarily large red chair on The Voice, his mediocre clothing collaboration with H&M, and some crappy song with Robin Thicke. Back in the day, Pharrell made bangers like “Lapdance” with his group N.E.R.D and some fuego with Snoop Dogg, “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Well NYC’s coveted g-house, p-house, good-house, whatever-awesomenes-they-want-house duo The Golden Pony remember the good ol’ days of Pharrell, when he still looked, well like he does today, because he’s a vampire. In celebration of the v spoopy dawning of all Hallow’s Eve and a full moon, they wanted to help you freaks drop it like it’s hot with their own remix. According to their soundcloud, the instrumental of this stemmed from a Hilary Duff remix of the track “Sparks.” One time they donned their tightest whitey tighties, snapped on some headphones and headbands, dropped the acapella of Snoop on their, and this gold happened. Take a listen to the fire for yourself. WARNING: Contents very hot.

For all the fine freaks in NYC, be sure to catch The Golden Pony this Saturday, as they take the stage at BangOn!NYC’s 4th annual Warehouse of Horrors. This year the event features artists like Future Classic’s Hayden James, Louis The Child, and many more. The venue will feature 2 music stages, a silent disco, super spooky interactive art, performances, mutant vehicles, and plenty of haunts that will speak to everyone’s die, cold, ghostly heart. Also this year they are introducing the BangOn Sideshow Zone, a Coney Island-style extravaganza featuring freaky performers, a bouncy castle, games, popcorn, cotton candy, and flesh-suspension show! Be there or be haunted by the ghost of Steve Buscemi until the next blood moon.
