ZHU, Skrillex, and THEY are steady "Working For It"

In all my time here at EARMILK, I have never anticipated posting a track from Skrillex. Luckily I'm coming off a huge ZHU hype from CRSSD Fest, so this new collaboration from them and THEY is irrefutable. "Working For It" is just as saucy as any other ZHU track, but gets a dose of gritty from the king Skrillex himself.

This marks the final release in ZHU's Genesis Series, and also notes just how big the LA native actually is now. It debuted on Rolling Stone while he continues to scour international tour dates week to week. Everyone is talking about how diverse the kid is, and his music doesn't curb the conversation in any sense. I was blown away by his live set because–well, he does EVERYTHING. He knows every corner of his music, and I attribute that to the flawless nature of his tracks.

The Genesis Series pulls from a variety of worldly inspirations, reflecting ZHU’s diverse musical palette and features exclusive collaborations with the likes of AlunaGeorge, A-Trak, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Daniel Johns and many more. The series also marks an impressive musical evolution from the phantom ZHU, since the release of his critically acclaimed EP The NIGHTDAY. Today's drop, "Working For It", has been a rumor in the works ever since surprise appearance of Skrillex during ZHU’s live set at Australia’s Stereosonic Festival. It's been a long time coming, but now we have it.
