We were first introduced to Virtu with his remix of Sultan + Ned Shepard's "All These Roads" alongside Bee's Knees. And with his latest, it's apparent that the LA-based producer has come a long way since then.
In that year since "All These Roads," Vitru has come up with multiple originals to solidify his brand in electronic music: a blend of electronica, progstep, deep and futuristic house. This past week, he let loose his remix of Daya's "Hide Away" to create even more intrigue surrounding his up and coming vision. The original features piercing, emotional vocals from Daya, and VIrtu has kept those in contact where it counts and chopped and screwed them in others to create an emotional release of an effect. The wavering futuristic synths surrounding have a little hip hop influence to them, and the overall result is addicting.
