If there's two artists that deserve more attention, it's Rapper Big Pooh and Nottz. Pooh has given us a laundry list of quotable bars during his Little Brother days (LB has to be one of the best underground groups of all time, and yes, I understand how that statement could come off as an oxymoron, but they're that good) as well as his amazing solo work. Besides being a Grammy winning producer, Nottz has worked with everyone from Kanye West and Snoop Dogg to Blu and other underrated guys. While they've done tracks together in the past, their upcoming full length collaboration is a dream come true.
While their newest track, "Memory," won't appear on the final album, it serves as a loosie that'll you have on loop for days. As usual, Pooh rides the snappy beat with his rhymes that have him reflecting on the pasta and present and the guest verse from Novej makes the tune that much better. Expect some heat real soon when this project drops on Mellow Music Group.
