Earlier this summer, Australian electronic group RÜFÜS announced their sophomore album to be released later this year, following the international success of ATLAS. As the lead single, "You Were Right" reintroduced us to their sound (with the help of Pete Tong) with summery infectious melodies.
And today, we're here to introduce the next iteration of "You Were Right," done by one of deep house's leading talents, Switzerland's Nora En Pure. Gaining her street cred through a resume filled with releases on Enormous Tunes since her debut in 2010, Nora En Pure has made her style and her intent clear through productions that are smooth, groovy and soothing, with a hint of always memorable melody. That might be the reason why she was the right choice to remix "You Were Right," with its already melodic foundation. Nora En Pure has delivered a stunning deep house rendition of "You Were Right" through her remix, using strategically produced deep synths, piano chords, progressions and arpeggios to amplify the unknowing melancholy lying in RÜFÜS's vocals.
