Two forces collide in this cover, a reimagining of The Weeknd's famous track "Hills". Just yesterday the revered Canadian singer/songwriter/producer put out his video to "Can't Feel My Face", a pop-driven number that starkly contrasts today's brooding rendition of the artist's previous work. A-Minor, the London-based artist with releases on Spinnin and Ministry of Sound, takes the spotlight today with the help of Alexandra Berglof to revisit "Hills". Much of the original's simplicity and vocal focus remain, but the track undergoes a refined transformation that becomes especially apparent in A-Minor's treatment of the interlude's dramatic drop.
