Some of you may be familiar with duo SMLE, who brought their upbeat 8-bit inspired future bass remixes to tracks like “Buy U A Drank” by T Pain and “Fireflies” by Owl Cities. If you follow this group, you may notice that a little over a week ago all their remixes on their Soundcloud were wiped and new songs emerged. In an attempt to keep progressing and evolving, the duo have decided to bottle their signature sound into original productions that are bursting at the seams with character.
Their first single “Every Chance You Get,” is a swirling symphony of electrifying synths, wailing guitar riffs, and distorted drum patterns that sound like a marriage between Madeon and Kavinsky. This single is the first off their forthcoming Reasons To EP which will feature all original work. Take a listen and be on the lookout for more from this group. It is a bold step and a very welcome one.
