To celebrate their 1-year anniversary, All Blak Records are releasing a compilation today titled "Future Sounds", with collaborations from some of their roster that’s released over the past year. Premiering on on EARMILK are standout tracks from forward thinking Toronto based producers including City Kid Soul, who recently played at the inaugural Bestival Toronto, as well as a classic house cut from label boss Paul Quzz and Steve Marto. Relative newcomers to the label, Leo Franco and Michael Davidson, offer up a minimal techno roller while Duke Tran and Matias Busato take things a bit darker on their track “Shadow In The Fog”, completing a versatile, well rounded release to summarize what a year it’s been for the Toronto label.
Their artists have been mainstays at the top clubs around the city including Coda and Nest, opening for some of the biggest names that come through each week, and with a steady slew of releases on the horizon, we’re excited to watch them grow. Next up for All Blak Records is the launch of the new event series "The Laundromat" tonight. The launch will be hosted by Toronto Collective Secret Society and will be held at a very unique location where we are told "the ordinary will become an experience".
