Two young and ambitious rappers, Tre Capital and Danny Seth, have come together in “Halfway There”both to claim a stake for themselves in this volatile game. This song is lifted off Tre Capital’s new project, Gundam Part II (follow up to Gundam Part I last fall), and enlists WondaGurl and Eestbound for production.
The track starts off with Tre testifying, “I been out here for the longest, really trying to get it / Halfway there towards my dreams, you can never know the feelin,” pressed on by low, thumping drums. Then, Danny comes in with his jolting flow and cheeky lines to add a new dimension. It’s exciting to see these two contrasting artists collaborate and push on forward.
