Cyrus Tha Great and Roc Marciano are scheming on some "Crime and Punishment"

I'll admit it, I've been sleeping on Cyrus Tha Great. I've seen his name pop up from time to time, but I've never gave the Massachusetts based producer a serious listen. This all changes toady. "Crime and Punishment," much like the Dostoyevsky novel, deals with the psychological musings of its subject; instead of Raskolnikov, we get the talented Roc Marciano on the mic. Lyrically, Marci proves he's better than your favourite rapper through his mafioso rhymes. Over this murky beat, he drops his standard "flow like butter" style bars that fit well within the gritty samples being used. Of course, I also have to mention the amazing artwork which only adds to the dopeness of the record.

"Crime and Punishment" is the second leak from the upcoming King Kong Aint Got Shit On Me (quite possibly the greatest name for anything ever made), the first of which is the Skyzoo and Joyner Lucas assisted "Great Expectations." Can we expect more literary titles with the rest of the album? We'll find out on June 19th when the project officially drops. I have a feeling it will be one of the best sleeper hits of the year.
