I saw this music video differently, and viewed it silently at first so that I could just focus on the imagery and the filming of Alex Winston's movie star face, complete with retro red lipstick. Even without the sound the first thing that I noticed about the pop starlet is that she is constantly in motion, bouncing around the set as her bubbly essence is captured perfectly.
On the meaning behind it Winston said, "This video is about my personal struggle with wanting to feel love, and wanting to feel excited."
And when I turned the sound on the second time I watched the on set video and heard the euphoric pop stylings that frame it, the last thing that I would ever think is boring.
