Axel Flóvent continues his progression with “Dancers” [Premiere]

It isn't often that someone can come around and pursued you into genre that you do not typically listen to. However, this is the case with Axel Flóvent, who carries deep messages through his engulfing music that will take you on a ride over the coast as the tide comes in and peels back. While the 19 year old Icelandic artist may just beginning what is sure to be a lengthy career, he is already drawing comparisons to Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes in his scope. Having released the title track off of his forthcoming EP last month to rave reviews, we bring you the second song from the EP in "Dancers".

Picking up where "Forest Fires" left off, "Dancers" begins with another emotional backing led by sustained piano melodies. Setting an optimistic edge, as the song picks up steam Axel's transparent vocals provide a ground with their genuine delivery that carries through. Just as the song begins to fade, listeners will be ready for more from Axel Flóvent, however they do not have to wait very long as his Forest Fires EP is due out in just under two weeks.
