Lush sound patters and drips on Maribou State's new single "Raincoats"

Maribou State has delivered on deep, lush production on their new single "Raincoats."  The song – a mellow, steady burner – is the production duo's latest single from their forthcoming album Portraits, that's due out June 1 on Counter Records.  The lead single brims with energy, as a sampled female vocals enchant and deep, multifaceted arrangements of drums, strings and more enthrall.  I wouldn't say that the track brings raincoats to mind, but it certainly evokes rain with a steady patter and hazy, psychedelic jazz sound.  Maribou State's production on their new song "Raincoats" and on "Rituals" along with that song's remix impresses.  We eagerly await the day their album drops.
