One fact of life is this: not everyone can come with you on journey to greatness. Friends will drift away, family members might throw shade at your vision and significant others may think the dream is over. There are times to triumphantly leave them in the rear view mirror and there are times to reminisce on all the great times that went down with them; unfortunately, this is the latter. While most of his previous tracks have been upbeat, "Far Away," the latest from Boston based singer-songwriter William Bolton, takes a heartfelt reflection on the pains of leaving those loved ones behind. It's a somber, piano rich track that shows another dimension to Bolton's already impressive body of work.
