We are no strangers to Salt Ashes, and she has yet to disappoint us with her enticing energy. Although she specifies her influences, her sound seems quite individual. "Raided" showcases a killer house tune with her breathy and slightly strained vocals. It's almost as if you can hear desperation, and it makes this track all the more interesting. She has a knack for enveloping this tune with her subtle fierceness and deliberate spirit. In her last track "If You Let Me Go," you could hear more trembling in her voice, but in this she feels much more forthright. It's a beyond solid, danceable track and well-deserving of a place in your dance playlists. We can't wait to hear what she releases next, as she has proved to be an extremely versatile artist.
