The ever lingering question surrounding Roc Nation signee Jay Electronica has been a case of WHEN will his album be released? The Louisiana native is yet to release his Roc Nation debut project, with no release date coming to fruition in several years. He has, however, been treating us to glimpses of his talents when it comes to rapping, and today is no exception as we've been blessed with a brand new cut from the New Orleans rapper, in the shape of the anthemic "Road To Perdition".
Backed by one of the strongest instrumentals of 2015, which features a banging drum beat underneath the rather epic sounding horns sample from Jay Z's "Success" and a distorted bassline, Electronica steps onto the beat and stamps his mark all over it. With a incredibly fluid flow that rides the beat tightly, he spits with a hunger and venom that has us thinking he's about ready to finally release that long-awaited album.
