Dance music producer Kaskade has been continuing to push himself creatively with deep house and nu disco releases to accompany his big room progressive house hits. Most recently, he's launched a label to make it all official, with September of last year solidifying the beginning of his indie dance label and project called Arkade. He's enlisted help with the latter addition to his repertoire from west coast duo Late Night Alumni, whose unique laid back electronic style by John Hancock and vocals from Becky Jean Williams culminated in their second release on the label earlier this week. Entitled "The This This," the track is a calming, groovy endeavor ahead of a larger one: their fifth artist album. On the project, the team claims:
“The album ‘Eclipse’ was inspired by the duality of human nature. We can't be defined. We are how we see ourselves and we are the someone that everyone sees. We are cycles of change. We are idiosyncrasies and nuances. We are no one thing. No man is an island, but every man, an eclipse.”
Due out later this year, Eclipse promises to be a journey through genre emotion and sound. In the meantime, check out "The This This" below.
